It's very sweet. (I am, of course, assuming that he isn't a professional tradesman.) This is so much better at communicating "I love you" than a greeting card would be.
Susan and CB: Yes, Hodmandod Senior is very sweet (and very long-suffering, poor man). He's not a tradesman, but he loves making things - so this shed project suits both of us. I'm going to post up each stage on this blog because I like seeing how things take shape.

Yes it LOOKED gorgeous,I thought it was wonderful when I first walked in. but then realised how much of it was loose, not stuck down properly and such a bad fit, the lads must have really rushed it. Lyn called it a posh name but I cant remember what it was now. Anyway Jenny wants it re-doing!

I need to do something like this to my floor, despite a family of left thumbs. Wood planks, iced wool, glue, ... Big ta.
