Debra Hammel has just pointed out that this blog is two years old today. Furthermore I have just finished the redrafting of my novel so an extremely auspicious day all round. There is only one way of celebrating this sort of thing in the Hodmandod household...

On behalf of my blog thank you all very much! For its birthday it had a big slice of pink white and cream angel cake washed down with a Kir Royale and then it was sick. Much too young to be eating that sort of thing.
And Montmorency - don't know how you've managed to do that but I'm very impressed.
Congratulations as well, Clare -- sorry if a bit late. In the photo of you reproduced on the Deblog, I was struck by how cool and trendy you are -- based on the kind of thing Cathy and her friends (age 16) wear. You suit the modern fashion very well (long dressy thing with jeans), and look much better than most of them (the friends). Elegance, style, wit, writing skills and impeccable fashion sense ;-)
