What I'm doing 7:
What I'm reading:
The Mouse and his Child by Russell Hoban
(as recommended by Anne S - and it wonderful, wonderful);
What I watched last:
Griff Rhys Jones climbing up a mountain in the Lake District on the TV
(inspiring - he is in his fifties, had never climbed before and the piece of rock he climbed up looked like a needle);
What I'm writing:
The absolutely final revision of my novel
...well until next time;
What I'm listening to:
White Blood Cells by White Stripes;
What I'm Wearing:
Yellow vest, blue dress, cut off jeans and trainers.
(HS came home and laughed);
What I'm dreaming about:
Getting my life back to 'normal' because it certainly hasn't been over the last couple of months.

It's good to dream.
Then to action...
I saw the white stripes in concert last week and there was to many people for the venue, they rocked it! It was in an old steel plant. It was so hot it was like standing at the mouth of hell.
I have been sitting with this screen up for like twenty min.
I feel like my inner free spirit got stabbed today and nothing really happened.
oh by the way,
love your picture!
Glad that you are finding the Mouse and his Child a good read.
Oh, I like that picture, Clare! Very artistic, very attractive. I think you should use it in your profile. Wonderful colours... Who gets credit for the camera work?
Have to agree with Susan & Susangelic regarding the photo.
Very Pre Raphaelite in colour composition. I think your outfit looks super cool.
CFR: Dreaming is easy, action more difficult, I find...
Susangalique: That sounds like the ideal venue for White Stripes to me.
And thanks to you, Susan and Anne about the photo - it was my computer that took it. There is a little camera above the screen and you have three seconds to get into position so I set it going and pressed myself up against my bookshelf trying to look relaxed. I'd love to be able to say it was the result of careful planning of lighting and composition but it was all pretty much accidental, really.
And MAY we ask what HS 'imself is wearing??!!
Jan: I haven't looked but I think I can confidently predict - black trousers, white shirt, tie. Just going to check...Yup, I'm right. HS takes no notice of such things, I'm afraid. His mind is on higher things like what's for dinner.
I'm glad HS has got his priorities exactly right!
Lee: Yup, that's what he reckons too.
