Turning right up GALLOPING AVENUE...

Tomorrow I am off to the conference of the Association for Welsh Writing in English at Gregynog Hall, in mid-Wales. It looks pretty, and the route looks quite straightforward...

...all I have to do after 30 miles down the main Chester- Shrewsbury road, is turn right at Llynclys, bear left towards Llanfair Caereinion, go over the river via Bridge Street, turn right then left up Watergate Street, then, after a couple more miles, turn right up the splendidly-named GALLOPING AVENUE..and I'm there!

Hope you enjoy Galloping Avenue. It sounds like it should be in a Pope poem. Just wanted to let you know that I'm enjoying your novel immensely.

Galloping Avenue sounds just like the sort of place you'd end up in Clare! Things like that always happen to gifted writers, because they look for them. :)
Go well and report back ... I am looking forward to hearing all about it.
