Bloglines
Something has happened to bloglines - it is no longer telling me when new posts from some of my favourite blogs. I thought maybe there had been a mass hibernation but suspect that it may be because people have switched to betablogger and their addresses are different.
I have deleted one of my favourite blogs (Snail Tales) which wasn't registering and added it again to see if that works.

There is some weird stuff going on today Clare. Some blogs are resisting attempts at commenting - I shall persist!
Minx is right about the difficulty commenting on 'beta' blogs. The problem isn't a new one though - it's been going on since the first switchover to 'beta'. Sometimes comments are accepted; often they are not.
And Site Meter is acting up for me. It's just swallowed a whole week of Mortal Ghost statistics, and now it's showing hits again but a daily average of 0. Even my limited understanding of maths tells me that's impossible.
I was wondering if I should switch to beta but was reluctant, because lately--knock knock--I've had no blogger problems. Probably it's fatal to say such a thing.
In a moment of wild abandon, I switched to beta blogger and it is a real pain commenting on blogs since then. I gather there may be problems commenting on my blog now too.
Beta blogger does have some good features though and makes it easier to post.

Minx and Susan Barr: I find that unless I wait for the yellow message to appear at the top of the comment box it doesn't go in (even though it appears to do so according to the blue bar).
Lee: Yes, the site meter lies. I just read another installment of MORTAL GHOST last night - excellent stuff, Lee. Going to try and get back to some more today.
Marly: Yes, I hadn't had any since I'd changed to FireFox but as Anne S says there are some good features - it is just the comment business that seems to be the main problem ...and the fact that the address seems to be different I think - but just for some applications, which I don't understand.
Anne S: You're another who seems to have gone silent according to bloglines - it must be the change in address. I think I'm going to have to go through each one re- registering.
