London!

Off to London again tomorrow. I'm looking forward to this. I have a lot of books ordered at the British Library but sadly they are irrelevant now...maybe I shall go and sit beside the Thames with a book, or visit St Paul's Cathedral because I still haven't been there...but whatever I do I shall look out for the little surprises and take my camera.

Clare! I am soooo pleased to be able to get on to your blog - every time I tried, a pop-up would tell me I was not invited - I began to think you didn't like me anymore :(
Now that I have finally got through, I have a heap of news to catch up on from all your posts I've missed out on (which, I hasten to add is not a chore, but a pleasure.)
I feel like Sally Field, crying at the Oscars - "You do like me - you really do like me!'

It's more than a day, Jan! And I am having fun, Marly. And so glad you've revisited, CB. I was just out for a day. It was the result of an unpleasant anonymous comment so I'm moderating now.
And Hi Angelique. I'm so pleased to see you here. I must get your meail address.

Of all the people in the world, Clare, I'm sure you are the least deserving of unpleasant anonymous comments! I'm so sorry you were upset. I think there's a feature in the 'works' that allows you to remove unsuitable comments without removing yourself! I'm going to look and I'll come back to report.

Yes, there is a removal option! You go to 'Posting' and 'Edit Posts'. You'll see the comments there and you can click on them. When they open, there's a 'trashcan' option to click on. Just throw them away! Nasty little beggars.
