Do not go here

Following a link from Jessa Crispin's excellent article in the Washington Post, I came upon this - Penguin UK's intriguing experiment called WE TELL STORIES.

It is addictive and VERY VERY BAD - and is exactly why I have a den with no connection to the internet... which is where I am going to go...in just a minute. Definitely. Now. Well, maybe after I've just read chapter 5...or 6...

If you want to see just how bad the internet can be for writing, try reading Dave Gorman's Googlewack Adventure some time.

Oh Dear.
Poor old shed.
It must be feeling lonely this week.

Stu- I am going to try to get that thought out of my head. I once briefly worked with a film producer who'd been googlewacked by Gorman. I didn't quite understand what was going on - but it does sound addictive.

Yes, Jan it is...poor thing...It is crying splintery tears.

Perhaps you should have a look at what I said about the Crispin's article. The litbloggers are almost the worst. Most of them want to be published establishment writers and review accordingly.
