Still on KEVIN (only p 55 but interrupted by preparing and eating dinner).
There is an excellent piece on travelling and includes a quote which sums up exactly how I feel too: 'If I was ever glad to have gone, I was never glad to go.'
And I'm finding the conversation with Kevin in prison is compelling because, perhaps it is so shocking and blackly funny....

How do you feel about Eva at this point?
Good question! I feel she is a bit 'hard', I suppose, but in a way that seems utterly realistic and honest.
Thanks for you comments on this book. I have heard a little about it, and am enjoying you perspective. :D
It is a book worthy of the highest accolades.
It is extraordinary.
Thanks Lissa, and Jan, yes I'd always had the impression you kinda thought this book was a bit good:-)
I'm looking forward to reading this next year.
Just taking a break from Lisey's Story.
I will be interested to hear if your feelings about her change or intensify!
