Contemplating Science-in-Fiction

I am going to a meeting on science-in -fiction in Bremen in a couple of weeks (dubbed as 'experimental' which strikes me as exciting, and also appropriate since it is about the depiction of science and scientists in literature) and  consequently have decided to embark on my own minor reading fest.  A quick look through my bookshelves has unearthed the following on this theme (although I know I have others):
