How lovely, Clare, amazing that you managed such great shots, he must feel very confident and "at home".
Thank you Maxine! I took lots of pictures in the hope that some might turn out more or less in focus - and a couple of them did. I was very pleased.
Very pretty haiku and robin. Haven't seen a robin for decades, though they were prevalent in the country town where I spent some of my childhood.
Best wishes for Christmas Clare, and a splendid New Year.
Thank you, Anne! Maybe no robin - but I expect you have a plethora of other birds to make up for this.
Ah, he is so sweet and tiny compared to a North American robin! Happy Christmas-to-come, Clare!
Thanks Marly! Yes, I do love our robins.
Great Haiku and a lovely pic Clare - what a nice idea!
Thanks Pam! I'm delighted you like them!
A very merry Christmas to you and the little robins!
Thanks Marly, and to you!
Oh this is SO sweet! Lucky, lucky you. I adore robins and they are an abiding fond memory for me of our visit to Britain - so long ago now. What a treat for you to have this robin visit and for you to be able to capture it so perfectly in both word (I LOVE the haiku!) and picture.
Thanks Kay. That means a lot coming from you!
