Clare - the link doesn't work.
Hi Clare - a nice review (your link's broken tho')
I'm currently half way through Seeing Further, it is a great sampler for some really good writers and the relatively short format of the individual chapters led me to read some stuff, particularly on philosophy, that I couldn't cope with at full book length.
I'm writing a massive two part review/notes blog post to remind me what I read!
Thanks for letting me know Brian. I often find this happens when I link to Book munch - I think it must somehow drift around a bit...anyway I'll have another go.
Ian - thank you. And great you're reviewing it too. I'll watch for your review.
One thing I've realised tonight - because I remembered reading something in it and wanted to refer to it - is it does not have an index! I really think it ought to have had one.
Link now mended (for the moment, anyway).
@clare - having read your review I've decided that what I'm writing is not a review, but a blaggers guide for those that haven't read the book but wish to pretend they have or those that have read the book but have forgotten the contents!
I also noticed that the referencing style varies by author through the book.
SomeBeans: now this sounds an excellent and very useful idea. I shall link to this when it is published - almost as good as an index I expect.
