Sunday Salon: Recent Reading and Acquisitions
Last Weekend I finished Time by Eva Hoffman - an excellent book. It is the sort of book that sets the mind reeling with ideas and so I thought it best to allow my thoughts to settle and accumulate before attempting a review. It'll follow soon.

Since then I have acquired five more books thanks to Serpent's Tail, (Killer by Dave Zeltserman); Profile books (A Lucky Child by Thomas Buergenthal); Bloomsbury (Daughter of the River by Hong Ying); and my own publisher Seren (White Ravens by Owen Sheers and Foreign Bodies by Candy Neubert). I'm already half way through Foreign Bodies and finding it an absorbing book. It's a well-written, unusual love story set in the Philippines and very thought-provoking it is too...
