Oh, rats, I am so far behind on what you have been doing!
Oh, now I feel terribly far behind in the matter of Clare. Must remedy that. Making up true things: I once heard Allan Gurganus talk about making up things about the slave market in Charleston--and they turned out to be true.
Yes, Marly, that is the weird thing about making things up - they often turn out to be true in some senses at least!
And there's not much to catch up, Marly! I just amble along, as ever.
